I love improving my photographic skills and taking college classes. I have taken 13 units through the Los Rios system in the last couple of years. I just completed a summer school class, "Marketing and Self- Promotion for Photographers." I have learned SO much, I can't say enough about this class. I feel competent at website building, SEO and have looked at the touch points of my website to try to make the client experience even better. The professor, Kathleen Curto knows what she is talking about and provides excellent feedback on marketing assignments.

They also offer two 2 unit portfolio classes. These classes challenge you to figure out which niche you want to specialize in, what type of photographer you are, including your brand. You have 4 meetings on Zoom with the professor, Professor Justin Sotelo(He is RAD) where he looks at your work and provides feedback for growth. I can't recommend this class more! I am taking the second half this Fall and can't wait.
